Main risk of penile cancer is
  • Old age above 60
  • Human papilloma virus infection (Sexually transmitted infection)
  • Poor hygiene
  • Phimosis
  • BXO- skin condition

Common presents very late due to embarrassment Common presentation are
  • Lump in the penis
  • Bleeding
  • Foul smelling discharge

Diagnosis of penile cancer is done by
  • History and physical examination
  • Penile biopsy

Treatment of penile cancer.

Noninvasive penile cancer

  • Topical chemotherapy
  • Laser treatment
  • Cryotherapy
  • Circumcision

Invasive penile cancer is treated by
  • Surgery- partial or total penectomy
  • Rarely radiation
  • Lymph node dissection if needed
